What is your main area of focus or research?
I'm a neurobiologist with a focus on the mechanisms of synapse formation in the peripheral nervous system. I have been very involved in numerous projects to improve undergraduate science education, including PKAL, the Willamette Valley Biological Education Network, CBE-Life Sciences Education.
How did you first learn about PULSE
e-mails from varioius sources and talking with NSF and HHMI representives at the Council on Undergraduate Research and the Introductory Biology Project conferences.
