What is your main area of focus or research?
Introductory course reform, teacher education, assessment, concept inventories in genetics, case-based learning, leadership development, institutional change, faculty development, interdisciplinary program development

My current focus is on creating integrated "studio" courses for introductory biology.

I was also recently Executive Director of Project Kaleidoscope in Washington, DC (January 2012 - September 2012).
