Judy, Things are going well with the changes.  Still more to come but the General Biology course is evolving and momentum is building. The fall semester in general biology will have one instructor and we started using student response systems.  We are trying to incorporate other opportunities for students to interact.  We have also significantly changed the laboratory to include student designed experiments and reports as part of the semester. I would really like to come to the AACU/PKAL conference, but I have gotten myself roped into some university wide leadership responsibilities.  Given Harper will be attending for sure.  I will give it some more thought.

If you are an undergraduate life science educator, department chair, or administrator, we invite you to join PULSE and make your department a model of Vision and Change in undergraduate life science education!
